Jacob Mannothra
FOUNDER
A postgraduate in Agronomy, was a scientist with Spices Board, Rubber Research Institute of India and headed the R&D Centre of United Planters Association of Southern India.
Managed the research of multi cropping in rubber plantations with medicinal herbs, food crops and organic farming while at the Rubber Research Institute of India. Was the first to set up remote sensing program for Rubber plantations in collaboration with India's Space Application Center (ISRO).
Headed the award-wining Indian Government Task force/Global Rubberwood project of ITC/UNCTAD/WTO which succeeded in promoting rubberwood as an ecofriendly furniture timber.
Had a key role in the development of the Indian market for New Zealand Pine from 1997, led New Zealand governments India Pine Export Network and promoted the usage of NZ pine nationwide in India through networking with architects, end users, besides through exhibitions and the media.
Twice a member of Sir John Key’s Prime Ministerial delegation to India.
Developing two new ports, Mundra in the north and Tuticorin in the south
and Kolkata in the east for NZ pine, becoming one the largest exporters and the only company dedicated to expand NZ pine log and lumber exports into India. Today my company exports forest products to USA, Uruguay, Argentina , South Africa and Germany.

Shankar Malavalli
OPERATIONS MANAGER
As our Export Operations manager, Shankar manages the commercial & operational aspects of our supply-chain from end to end covering procurement, inland logistics and port operations, 3PLs, shipping and trade-finance, across our supply markets in New Zealand, South Africa and USA.
Shankar graduated with a Master of International Business degree in 2012 from University of Auckland. He has worked in the anti-dumping and patent commercialization research sectors in the past before joining us in 2013.
Outside work, Shankar is an avid swimmer and enjoys adventure themed travels. He is also a sucker for good techno-thriller books and is notorious for religiously catching-up on the latest sci-fi/fantasy movies at the local theatres.

Tina Thomas
GROUP COORDINATOR
Tina is our Group Co-ordinator responsible for procurement & marketing of Forest products from New Zealand and Australia to India, our dedicated export market. Tina is also responsible for the R&D Phyto-sanitation, recapturing project in India, working closely with Genera, NZ.
Before devoting her career to Forest Products, Tina held senior roles in both food & wine, working with some of New Zealand & India’s award-winning brands. Tina set up the New Zealand wine portfolio, partnering with United Breweries, India’s largest liquor company, known for its Kingfisher beer. She is very passionate about trade between New Zealand and India, working with United Breweries has allowed her experience, business knowledge & valuable networks to assist Zindia Forestry in becoming a successful trade partner.
Tina lives in Sunny Nelson, has 3 beautiful children & grandson, Buster. She is an avid animal lover, enjoys the outdoors, food & wine, and spending time with family & friends.

Jerry Lu
TRADE DOCUMENTATION MANAGER
Jerry excels as a data analyst, using his analytical skills to uncover insights and drive strategic decisions. Jerry manages the creation and coordination of export and shipping documentations across multiple countries, as well as supporting the Export & Operations Manager.
Jerry has been working in Forest products since past 7 years.
Jerry is a versatile musician, skilled in guitar, piano, and digital music production. He's also an avid sailor, finding inspiration on the open sea.
